Frequently asked questions

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is currently free for orders over $80 before taxes in Quebec and Ontario. For other provinces in Canada, shipping costs will be calculated based on weight and shipping address after items are added to the cart.

What are the delivery times?

Orders are usually delivered within 1 to 5 business days, depending on your location and the volume of orders. Please keep in mind any holidays when placing your order. To maintain the quality of our products, we reserve the right to delay shipping during extreme heat until conditions are suitable for optimal delivery.

How do you open a bottle sealed with wax?

To easily remove the wax seal from the bottle, use a knife to cut around the neck of the bottle horizontally, about 1.5 to 2 cm from the top. For 200 ml and 500 ml bottles, you can simply pull out the cork. For 50 ml bottles, twist the cap counterclockwise to open it.

How can I contact the company if I have a question about a product or an order?

You can email us at the following address: info@virginmady.com.

What is the ideal shelf life and storage method for your products?

Maple syrup can be stored for up to five years when unopened. Once opened, it should be refrigerated and will last for 10 to 12 months.

Maple jelly can be kept at room temperature for two years before opening. After opening, it is best to store it in the refrigerator, where it will last for 10 to 12 months.

Maple butter must be kept in the refrigerator or freezer even when unopened. While it can be shipped without issue, refrigerating it before consumption is recommended. Once opened, maple butter will last about 12 months when stored in the refrigerator.
